Q: what is the GPM rating?
A: It is an adjustable pressure reducing valve and so however many lbs./sq.inch you set it at also determines the GPM flow. The 80lbs. of pressure coming off of the street kept blowing out my garden hoses so I installed this and set it to 40lbs. and problem solved.
Q: Does this maintain the reduced pressure even when the water is not flowing?
A: Glad to help you! The minimum pressure is 0.05MPa.
Q: Is this pressure reducing valve lead free?
A: It is NOT NSF approved so it should not be used for potable water applications
Q: Can this be installed on a frost proof yard hydrant?
A: You should have no problem at all!
Q: is this 1/2 inch in and out or 3/4?

Q: Will this work to reduce water flow for a tankless water heater?

Q: Can this be used to regulate oil pressure?
A: I wouldn't recommend it for that.
