Q: What grits are the files?
A: I'm not quite sure what you mean by "grits" but filing surface is etched into the metal with a tiny grid pattern on one side, and a tiny fan pattern on the other providing 2 types of filing (one rougher, one smoother). I've been using them for a while now, and really love them. I hope that helps!
